The Best Practices Summit is an event open to staff from Organ Procurement Organizations. Many attendees are from OPOs who have participated in The Research & Planning Group’s Hospital Partners Study or Donor Family Study or who have been specifically invited to send a delegation.
Each Summit is focused on providing a forum for collaboration amongst OPOs to focus on how OPOs can become better partners to the physicians, nurses and other hospital staff who assist them on the donation side of cases and to the donor families they serve. During each Summit, an analysis of national trends based upon a national dataset compiled from individual studies is also shared with participants.
There is no fee for the Summit. The event is conducted by The Research & Planning Group.
